About Willie

Willie grew up in Pittsburgh, PA, with a tight-knit family where Sundays were spent at grandma’s house for a family dinner. In middle and high school, Willie was active in sports and the arts. He chose Eckerd College to further his education in the marine science track of their biology program. There, he continued in sports and the arts there where he helped develop the men’s volleyball program and participated in many theatrical productions at the school. Willie was one of the team’s player-coaches during their southeast regional championship run.

Willie has dedicated his professional career to public service in county and state government as a communicator, outreach specialist and educator, and legislative liaison. Willie has supported FEMA during natural disasters and has been deployed to many hurricane responses around the state as a public information officer and a member of their community relations team.

Willie and his wife, Wendy, have been married for 14 years. They picked Jupiter as their family’s hometown more than 10 years ago due to the great schools, incredible parks and recreational opportunities, fabulous businesses, and its wonderful community feel. Their son, Brandon, attends a Jupiter public school.

Willie had dedicated much of his time to serving in our community. He has served on the Town’s Environmental Task Force since its inception; twice serving as Chair. He has coached youth recreation and travel sports teams, including baseball, soccer and hockey. And he is serving on various chamber’s legislative, governmental and sustainability committees. On days off, you can find Willie and his family at the hockey rink, fishing or enjoying the area’s fabulous restaurants and beautiful beaches.
